How can we help?
A wedding ceremony is an act of worship; therefore the following guidelines and policies were developed to help make your wedding a happy and holy service of worship.
These policies are also in place to help us protect church property and to assure the theological integrity of our heritage as a United Methodist faith community. Please read this information carefully to understand the guidelines and policies, music, scheduling procedures, and accommodations available for weddings and receptions at our church.
We are so excited to serve you during the process of marriage and wedding planning. We offer many resources to help you plan and execute your rehearsal and wedding. The guidelines outlined in the document below have been prepared to help you in your planning. Please contact us to discuss with Pastor Corey any areas of concern that are not covered in this packet.
The Sanctuary accommodates a large number people.
There is one mail aisle and aisles on each side that can be used in the wedding ceremony — one for the procession of the bridal party and the other for the recession.
The Chapel accommodates a smaller group.
There is a center aisle.
Receptions may be held in the Fellowship Hall or the Round Table room.
Both a Bride’s Room and a Groom’s Room are available for Sanctuary and Chapel weddings.
Rehearsal dinners may also be held at the church.
In baptism you are making a commitment to your child and the congregation also makes a commitment to you – to walk with you in your child’s faith journey and to support your family. For this reason the gathered congregation should always be part of the baptism ritual.
Baptisms are performed during the 9:30 AM worship service. We appreciate those who can set at date at least a month in advance. Please contact the church office at 308.254.4505 to make arrangements.
A worship service following the death of a loved one does at least two things: it enables us to face the reality of our mortality and comforts us in the celebration of another reality -- life after death in God. As one of our creeds declares: “In life, in death, in life beyond death, we are not alone. Thanks be to God!”
We can hold your loved one's ceremony any day of the week. Please contact the church office at 308.254.4505 to make arrangements. We will require a slight deposit at the time of booking the ceremony.
